art on vacation

My stay in Denver has been a creative one. Mallory has a plethora of art supplies, and we've had nothing but time. Here's some art from my trip. We drove up into the mountains on the last day of the year and I did an observational sketch, adding watercolor later.


I bought a little lino block to cut/carve. This is my first attempt at printmaking; Mal took some print classes in college and gave me tips. I'm pleased with the turnout.




I thought the white flower (top right) would look cool on this toned paper. You can't really see it unless you're looking at the proper angle, though.
